This song used to be called Hell On Wheels - it was inspired by the TV show of the same name which we loved. This is an anthem for all of us who work hard for what we have and that not being our identity, our true selves are creative creatures with soul and spirit and no one can take that from you unless you let them.
lyrics
You can take what I have from me
that will never break me
its not the reason I carry on
its not the thing that makes me
oh no, oh no, that will never break me
live my life till the day I die
with purpose and with reason
and when I go be sure to know
you’re not the one I’m pleasin’
oh no, oh no,
you’re not the one I’m pleasin’
I work hard
I work hard
I work hard for what I have
and what I have is mine
oh yeah oh
what I have is mine
Wheel of fortune it goes round
not with luck you spin it
a destiny is earned my friend
I am gonna win it
Look at that wheel turn
look at that wheel spin
the train to middle is a fulla fools
and I will never get in
I will never get in
oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no,
I will never get in
I will never get in
I will never get in
I will never give IN!
